Advice is a matter of trust. So is your website.
Insurance distribution lives on referral and personal contact – which is exactly why the digital presence is so often the weakest part of a strong business. We build websites that generate enquiries instead of merely existing, and the applications behind them: customer portals, claims reporting with photo upload, guided application journeys, integration with the policy system. We already serve clients from the insurance industry.
Clients in the sector
We serve clients from the insurance industry on websites and digital presence. We name names only where they have approved it – happy to be more specific in conversation.
The website as a sales channel
A website that only informs is a digital sign. One that generates appointments and enquiries is a sales channel. The difference lies in structure, speed and guidance – not in the design.
Portals without rebuilding systems
Customer portal, claims reporting, document access: we build the front end and connect it to what you have – rather than questioning your policy system.
- Who this is for: insurance brokers, tied agencies, multiple agents, managing general agents, specialist intermediaries and distribution organizations.
- Typical trigger: the business runs on referral but has stopped growing – and the website produces practically no enquiries. Or: customers ring up for information they could look up themselves.
- What we build: websites with a clear enquiry journey, customer portals with policy overview and document access, claims reporting with photo upload, guided application and advice journeys, appointment booking, integration with existing policy and broker systems.
- What we are not: an insurance intermediary, a product provider or a legal adviser. We build the technology; advice, intermediation and regulatory responsibility stay with you.
What gets left behind digitally in intermediation.
Rarely out of disinterest. Usually because the working day consists of advising clients and nobody has time to think the digital part through to the end.
The website produces no enquiries
It is there, it looks tidy, it lists the lines of business – and it leads nobody to an action. Whoever visits leaves again without you ever finding out.
Everything runs on referral
That is a strength and a ceiling at once: referral business grows with your existing client circle, not beyond it. New target groups are practically never reached this way.
Queries that eat time
“What was my policy number again?”, “Could you send me the policy document once more?” – information clients could look up themselves, if there were a place for it.
Claims reported by phone and email
A description on the phone, photos by WhatsApp, documents by email – and afterwards somebody sorts it all together. Every claim creates administrative work before it is even processed.
Application journeys as PDFs
A form is sent out, printed, filled in, photographed, sent back and typed up. Every step is a place where a case stalls.
Data in several pots
Policy system, comparison tools, spreadsheets, email folders. For a simple question across the book of business, somebody assembles the answer by hand.
What we build for insurers and brokers.
Concrete use cases from intermediation – from the website that generates appointments to the portal that makes queries unnecessary.
“As a brokerage, I want a website that generates appointments.”
Clear guidance instead of a list of product lines: what do you stand for, for whom, and what is the next step? With fast load times, good findability and an enquiry journey that works on a phone.
Web development“As a client, I want to see my policies without ringing up.”
A customer portal with policy overview, documents and a named contact. Every piece of information somebody fetches themselves is a call your office does not have to take.
“As a client, I want to report a claim from my phone – with photos.”
A guided claim report: what happened, when, where, photos straight from the camera. Captured in structured form instead of as a phone note – and the case starts complete rather than with follow-up questions.
App development“As an intermediary, I want an application journey without PDF ping-pong.”
A guided online journey with plausibility checks, a status view and a digital signature where permitted. The case stays visible in one place instead of wandering between inboxes.
“As an agency, I want to schedule appointments without phone tag.”
Appointment booking directly on the website, with calendar integration and automatic reminders. It noticeably reduces no-shows and takes the coordination off the office.
“As a sales lead, I want to see where enquiries come from.”
Reporting along the enquiry journey: which page, which line of business, which channel – so the budget goes where it works instead of where it feels right.
Conversion rate optimizationWhy the website carries more weight in this sector than elsewhere.
Insurance is a trust product with no sample to hand out. Nobody can touch your advice in advance – the website is the only impression a prospect gets before the first conversation.
- Trust is built before contact – Someone who does not know you yet decides within seconds whether to ring. A face, clarity, reachability and a visible next step matter far more here than any list of product lines.
- Specialization beats a full range – A page that offers everything gets found for nothing. Whoever visibly owns one target group or one topic receives enquiries with a much better fit – and spends less time advising people who never sign.
- Speed is trust – A slow page loses visitors before the first sentence is read. We build with Astro, because it ships mostly static HTML – fast, stable and usable on a phone over mobile data.
- The enquiry journey is the product – Form, phone, WhatsApp, callback request: people take different routes. We offer several and keep each of them short – every additional mandatory field costs enquiries.
- Findability is craft – Structure, load time, clean markup and content that answers a real question. That works in classic search and increasingly where AI systems assemble the answers too.
- Mandatory legal information built in – Imprint, initial information, privacy notice and cookie consent are obligations for intermediaries. We implement the technical requirements properly; responsibility for the content stays with you and your legal advisers.

How a project like this runs.
Not with a design draft. With the question of who should ring you, and what stops them today.
Current-state analysis of your presence
What does someone who does not know you find? How fast does the page load, what is at the top, where is the next step – and where do the enquiries you already get come from?
Sharpen the target group and the edge
Who are you first choice for, and why? That question decides the structure and content of the whole site. Without an answer, you end up with another page that can do everything and triggers nothing.
Design the enquiry journey
The route to the enquiry first, everything else second. We define which routes exist, how short they are and what happens afterwards – organizationally too, because an enquiry left for two days is lost.
Build and go live
Delivery with a fast stack, a clean structure and the mandatory information. Go live before the last subpage is perfect – a site learns in operation, not in the draft.
Measure and follow up
Then we measure which route brings enquiries and which does not. What does not work gets changed. Only in this phase do the gains appear that are worth talking about.
Add the portal and applications
Once the visibility holds, the part that saves work follows: customer portal, claims reporting, application journey – connected to what you run in house.
Common questions from the insurance industry.
Do you have clients in the insurance industry?
Yes. We serve clients from the insurance industry on websites and digital presence. We do not name them here, because we only show client projects publicly with explicit approval – in a first conversation we are happy to be more specific, as far as our clients have agreed. You will not find a logo wall on this website; that is deliberate.
Can you integrate with our broker management system?
If it provides an interface: yes. We put the application – portal, claims reporting, application journey – in front of your policy system and hand over through its interface. Your system of record stays untouched. If your vendor has no open interface, we say so in advance and check what route remains – sometimes a clean export is the more pragmatic start.
What about data protection for client data?
Hosting in the EU, a data processing agreement and data minimization as a design principle: we capture and store what the process genuinely needs. With claims reports and health information in particular that is decisive – the fewer special categories of personal data run through your systems at all, the simpler everything else becomes. Responsibility as the controller stays with you; we build so that it remains manageable.
Do you also advise on insurance products?
No, and we are not permitted to. We are not an insurance intermediary, not a product provider and not a legal adviser. We build websites, portals and applications. Advice, intermediation and regulatory responsibility stay entirely with you – we make sure the technology does not get in your way.
Does a new website really bring new clients?
Not on its own. A website produces enquiries when three things come together: it gets found, it convinces in the first few seconds, and it makes the next step easy. If one of them is missing, nothing happens – which is why we start with the analysis and not with the design. And we do not promise numbers we do not know: what we can deliver is a site with nothing technical or editorial left in the way.
We are a small agency. Is a customer portal worth it?
Usually only as a second step. For small offices the bigger lever is almost always visibility and the enquiry journey – growth hangs on those. A portal saves time once the book of business is large enough that routine queries create noticeable work. We tell you honestly where you stand instead of selling both at once.
Can you build the site so that we can maintain it ourselves?
Yes, in two ways. Either with a headless CMS behind a fast Astro site, or with Webflow if you prefer to work visually. For smaller text changes we also offer the option of maintaining the website by chat. Which route fits depends on how often and how deeply you want to make changes yourself.
What about multiple languages for international clients?
We do that regularly. What matters is less the translation than the structure: clean language versions with correct technical markup, so search engines serve the right one. This website is itself built bilingually – so you can see on the live object how we solve it.
What does someone who does not know you yet find?
Send us your website address and one sentence about which clients you want to reach more of. You get an honest first assessment – including one that says the site can stay as it is.
From referral to enquiry.
Tell us briefly where your business comes from today and what you want to achieve – more enquiries, fewer queries, or both. We will come back with a first assessment.
We usually reply within 24 hours.
